Pork Chops with Apples and Onions | Sweet & Savory Skillet Dinner
There’s something about pork chops with apples and onions that just feels classic.
It’s savory, slightly sweet, cozy, and perfect for fall — but honestly? I make this year-round because it’s simple, fast, and full of flavor.
The real secret here is the seasoning. Instead of just salt and pepper, I use my homemade blend that adds sage, thyme, and warm spice depth.

Why This Recipe Works
This dish hits every note:
- Savory herb-seasoned pork
- Sweet caramelized apples
- Soft, golden onions
- A light pan sauce that brings everything together
The flour coating gives the pork a slight crust while also helping thicken the sauce at the end.
It’s one skillet. Minimal cleanup. Big flavor.

Instead of grabbing a store-bought blend, this recipe uses 2 tablespoons of my homemade Pork Chop Seasoning.
