Ingredients
Dry Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cup All-purpose flour 3/4 cup Sugar
- 1/2 tsp Salt
- 1 tsp Baking soda
- 1 tsp Baking powder 1 tsp Cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp Nutmeg
Wet Ingredients
- 3 Ripe bananas mashed
- 1 tsp Vanilla extract
- 1/3 cup Melted unsalted butter
- 1 Egg
Crumble Topping
- 1 1/2 cup All-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup Firmly packed brown sugar
- 1/4 cup White sugar
- 1 dash Salt
- 1 tsp Cinnamon
- 8 tbsp Butter
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F.
- In a large bowl, mix the flour, sugar, salt, baking soda, baking powder, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
Make the Wet Mixture
- in a separate bowl, mash the bananas and mix in the vanilla extract, melted butter, and egg. Leave some chunks of banana for added flavor in each bite.
- Gently fold the wet mixture into the dry ingredients. Be careful not to overmix to avoid flat muffins.
