Why Keto Bagels?

Hey there, fellow food enthusiasts! Ever hear of keto bagels? Are you tired of feeling like you’re missing out on your favorite carb-heavy treats while trying to stay healthy? Well, let me introduce you to a game-changer in the world of baked goods – keto bagels! Yes, you heard it right. Those delectable round wonders have gone keto, and not only are they mouthwateringly delicious, but they’re also surprisingly good for you. Let’s take a bite into the details and find out why these keto bagels deserve a special place in your heart (and stomach)!

The Low-Carb Magic

Bagels have long been a staple in many breakfast routines, but their high carbohydrate content often leaves health-conscious folks feeling torn between taste and their wellness goals. Enter keto bagels, the ultimate solution to this dilemma! These little gems are crafted with low-carb flours like almond flour, coconut flour, or a mix of both. This simple switcheroo slashes the carb content drastically while still delivering that signature chewiness and satisfying bite.

Fueling the Fat Burn

Now, you might be wondering how a bagel can be good for you when it’s known to be carb-heavy. Well, the secret lies in the ketogenic approach. Keto bagels typically pack a decent amount of healthy fats. Think cream cheese, butter, and even avocado toppings that add a creamy, rich taste while supporting your body’s fat-burning potential. Remember, on a ketogenic diet, your body enters a state of ketosis where it relies on fats for energy instead of carbohydrates. So, these bagels can actually be your trusty companions on your keto journey.

Steady Energy, No Crash

Ever experienced that post-carb-crash slump after devouring a regular bagel? Keto bagels might just be your ticket out of that energy roller coaster. With their low-carb composition and healthy fats, they provide a more sustained release of energy. Say goodbye to the mid-morning crash and hello to a productive and energetic day ahead!

TIP: You don’t NEED it but using a Food Processor is very helpful for othis recipe.

Satisfy Your Cravings, Guilt-Free

We all know that giving up on our favorite foods can sometimes lead to intense cravings. But guess what? With keto bagels, you don’t have to deprive yourself! These bagels come in a variety of flavors, from classic everything bagels to cinnamon-raisin twists. You can toast them, slather on your preferred toppings, and satisfy those cravings without any guilt weighing you down.

Customization Galore

One of the most exciting aspects of keto bagels is the level of customization they offer. Whether you’re a fan of sweet or savory, you can experiment with various toppings and spreads to create your ultimate keto-friendly masterpiece. Try smoked salmon and cream cheese, poached eggs and avocado, or even some sugar-free nut butter for a delightful treat that suits your taste buds and your dietary choices.

Final Bites

In a world where dietary preferences are as diverse as the people themselves, it’s comforting to know that there are delicious and health-conscious options available. Keto bagels have swooped in to save the day, allowing you to indulge in the goodness of bagels without derailing your wellness journey.

So, if you’ve been missing the joy of biting into a chewy, flavorful bagel, it’s time to explore the world of keto bagels. From their low-carb magic to the sustained energy they provide, these delightful treats are here to make your taste buds dance while keeping your health goals intact. Or maybe it’s called Apricot Sweet & Spicy Chicken Or maybe it’s called Apricot Sweet & Spicy Chicken 🍗🔥, choose one.

This chicken is sticky, savory, and has the perfect balance of sweet heat.

I used thighs and drumsticks, seasoned them generously, and roasted them until golden and crispy. But the real magic? That apricot glaze.

It’s buttery, bold, and made with jam, mustard, hot sauce, and ginger paste. I poured it right over the crispy chicken and let it soak in. SO good.

This one’s going on repeat.

Full recipe:
Seasoning Mix:
– 2 tsp baking powder
– 1 tbsp garlic powder
– 1 tbsp onion powder
– 1 tbsp smoked paprika
– 1 tbsp ground mustard
– 1 tbsp black pepper
– 1 tbsp ginger paste
– 1 tsp crushed red pepper
– Salt to taste

Bake: Chicken thighs + drumsticks at 400°F until internal temp reaches 165°F.

Apricot Glaze:
– 2 tbsp butter
– 1 small jar apricot jam
– 1 tbsp yellow mustard
– 1 tbsp hot sauce
– 1 tbsp ginger paste

Melt butter, mix in sauce ingredients, simmer, then pour over the cooked chicken. That’s it!

Would you try this? Save it for dinner this week.
