Although this is a Mediterranean staple, we love to have Tzatziki sauce on hand at all times. Simple ingredients combined with simple cooking steps makes it easy to whip this up in minutes.

I like to keep things simple and throw everything in a mini food processor like this one. But can also whip things up by hand. Be sure to have a good airtight container to keep your sauce fresh for as long as possible.

Tzatziki Sauce
This easy tzatziki recipe is great with all of your summer grilling recipes. Light, airy and full of fresh herbs. It goes great with meat or veggies!
Ingredients
- ½ cup Cucumber grated, remove water
- 1 tbsp Olive Oil
- 1 tbsp Lemon Juice
- 1 ½ cup Greek Yogurt
- 1 tbsp Fresh Dill
- 4 Cloves Garlic minced or crushed
- ¼ tsp Salt
- ¼ tsp Pepper
Instructions
- Shred the cucumber using a cheese grater. Sprinkle with a little bit of salt and let sit to the side while you prepare the rest of the ingredients. While the cucumber rests the salt will draw more water out.
- Roughly chop dill.
- Mince or crush garlic.
- squeeze water our of cucumber. You can simply do this with your hands or you can use a paper towel.
- Add drained cucumber into a bowl with all other ingredients and mix.
- optional- top with additional sprinkle of dill and a dash of olive oil. serve as a dip for meat or veggies.
