DIY Instant Oatmeal Packets
Create your own instant oatmeal packets in mason jars
Equipment
- Mason Jars optional
Ingredients
- 1 cup Old fashioned oats
- 1 tbsp Brown sugar or granulated white
- ⅛ tsp salt
- ½ tsp cinnamon
- 2 tbsp raisins or any dried fruit
Instructions
- Add all of your dry ingredients in jars and seal tightly in cool dry place.
To Make Oatmeal
- Boil 1 ¾ cup of water or milk
- Pour in mason jar contents and cook for 5 minutes on a low simmer
- turn heat off and cover until your oatmeal reaches your desired texture.
