Biscuit Donuts

Use canned biscuit dough for an easy way to make a delicious treat

Equipment

  • hot oil thermometer optional

Ingredients
  

  • 1 can Regular refrigerated biscuits do not use flaky
  • 1 quart Canola or vegetable oil
  • 2 cups Powdered Sugar
  • 2 tsp Vanilla Extract
  • 2-3 tbsp heavy whipping cream you can use almond milk for dairy free options

Instructions
 

  • Slowly heat your oil to 350 degrees
  • Open your biscuits and cut a hole in the middle of each of them. (save the cutouts for donut holes). You can use anything that’s small circular like a cap or a small bottle.
  • To make the glaze mix the sugar, vanilla and heavy cream together. Add one tablespoon of heavy cream at a time until it gets to your desired consistency.
  • Once the oil reached 350, drop in two donuts ata time. They cook fast so keep an eye on them! Once they brown, flip then overand brown the other side.
  • Drain them over a wire rack and let themslightly cool. While still warm dip each side in the glaze mixture and put them back on the wire rack.
    You can serve warm or cold!
